we lightly follow professional Soccer because it's seen as a safer, non contact alternative to (our) football for our children. Here, Tennis and Golf are recreational, and Cricket, Rugby, are non-existent concepts.
Yes, soccer in the USA is a childrens game. Hope Mom brought the juice. The reason is because of another non-existent concept. The 0-0 tie. Not to mention the constant dives and clutching screams of Owwie my knee, every 10 seconds in the pro's, which re-enforces the idea that its for sissies and little children.

Sorry, but taking the easy way out is never a cause for celebrating, especially others popularity in light of the pressure Hatton crumpled under trying to cope with the loss of it.

Yeah, that's also why I think basketball is losing popularity in the US.

Because we let the European players bring flopping into the game

I'll tell what is strange, the biggest golf league in the world is the pga of america with its players earning many millions of dollars a year with huge sponsorship on top of that & tennis is a very well paid sport, actually for women the top paid sport and maybe by quite a long way, gauff being the highest paid female athlete this year overall & rugby 7's is a sport gaining popularity in the states as well, a great little sport to watch actually

Soccer is more agressive than safer Baketball and Baseball. Rugby looks as agressive as football. No pads.
