Even if Baraou is a weak champion, he's a champion, nonetheless. I don't fault Ennis for taking on a weak champ first. Now if after he wins the belt, he holds it hostage and never properly defends it against mandatory challengers, I'll fault him.

I'm not really that concerned with Ennis at this point, so I'm not going to the carpet to defend him. Now that he's fighting @154 and claims that he feels more comfortable than when he was @147, let's wait and see what he does.

Where did I say Bootsy HAS to fight a title holder? I said just fight a damn world class guy. He could fight Madrimov, bohachuk, Tim tzyzu or any of the current title holder not named Abass Baraou. He not going anywhere near anyone BUT baraou though. He has a pattern of this. Again I have to paint to you that Ortiz has over 25% of his opponents on the world class level. Bootsy has ONE “world class” opponent. Less than 3% of his opponents in 35 fights. It’s just crazy to even try to compare this two fighters. You think Bootsy can beat Ortiz cause he smashes BUMS lmao. ONCE AGAIN, How come your boy Ortiz has NOT fought for a title? You are here harping and yapping on about Boots not fighting for a belt yet your boy has had FOUR fights at 154 and has fought ZERO belt holders. I'm sure you are about to justify that dry run with some epic tales about "nobody wanting to fight him" or "everyone was busy" or "he was injured" or some mind bending stuff but one thing you will not escape is Ortiz has spent two years at 154 and has NOT fought for a belt. Is he scared? What's his excuse?

If Ortiz fights Abbas Baraou, you'd be perfectly ok with that because he's fought tough challenges?

If Boots fights Baraou, I am not going to say it's a good fight. Until yesterday, I had never heard of Baraou until you mentioned it. I looked him up and saw that he's a belt holder and yet I've never heard of him. Ortiz and Boots will BOTH fight him for that strap if the opportunity presented itself. LAchargers373 is just being pedantic at this point. Calling out Boots age yet Ortiz is the same age as Boots and has NEVER fought for a title. Ortiz has been at 154 for two years and has four fights and has NOT fought for a title. How crazy is that? Boots just got to 154. Perhaps he should also follow on Ortiz's footsteps and wait two years before fighting for a title?
