Let's assume Boots fights Abass and destroys him. Let's assume the trinket gives him leverage to unify with Ortiz or the other two guys, and let's assume those fights happen in 2026 and Boots cleans the division. What else is there to argue about? 1. Fredrick Lawson - this virtual unknown had 3 losses when Ortiz cherry-picked him.
2. Thomas Dulorme - this guy had been KO'd by Boots 4 years earlier.
3. Bohachuk - Bohachuk BEAT Ortiz and Ortiz got a gift decision.
4. Madrimov - Madrimov was coming off a loss to Bud and the great Ortiz chose to fight a guy coming off a loss
5. Lubin - this guy has two losses already and Ortiz is cherry-picking him

boots is not fighting guys like this at all, actually being the 147 ibf champ he should have just made the fight with the russian 154 ibf champ and taken his belt as the russian is actually going well now so it would be seen as a good win

This is all fine and dandy however, Ortiz is 30 years old and has been a pro for over 10 years AND has NEVER fought for a title. NOT at WW and now he's just cruising at 154.
