Usyk's most formidable threat has emerged Itauma, and he still hasn't commented on it

a point I've heard is they were fighting in Briedis country so the judges scored it closer than it was

I think it's impressive Usyk hasn't had any of these 3 close decisions all in the opponents backyard go against him

So the problem is Usyk either waits another 2 years and fights him at 40 when he has a bigger resume and usyk is past it

Or he fighta him today and if he wins then everyone will just say Itauma.was green, it will be another mayweather-canelo situation
It's alright because Saul became all time great

Biblical Moses will be too higher level than Saul imo

As it stands Usyk currently has no great heavyweight on his record

The fact that Usyk has only fought 3 world level heavyweights and has people calling him the GOAT is frankly astonishing

Any heavyweight ATG goes through Usyks heavyweight run unbeaten and probably wins all by stoppage too
Mike Tyson who was mentally unstable and good but far from being the best heavy would mop all of those guys Buff Guy Joshua Flabby Fury Buff Guy Dubois

only people I've heard call Usyk goat are racial tribalist white teenie boppers whose balls are still lifted

I rank the Samurai Naoya ahead of the Cossack Usyk

Make the Cossack the same size and the Samurai folds him to the body

The situation is usyk is fighting great fighters like Parker and kabayel, so what is Itauma doing in mean time? Itauma needs one good win, so if Itauma were to never have another good win after losing to usyk, at least usyk can boast he best Itaima after itauma beat flip, or ddd, or zhang.
So it's a case of usyk hoping It auma has a great career after beating itauma, but that's not guaranteed for itauma, so it would've wasted usyk time?

Itauma is in the driver's seat now after slaughterhousing Whyte. He has the Usyk title shot in his back pocket for 26, Turki is behind him too. Absolutely no reason for King Moses to waste his valuable time with some boring stagnated B/C level dud like Frank Sanchez or his ilk right now. All roads lead to Itauma and he calls the shots. Frank Sanchez is such a zero draw he can't even get a $50,000 fight on Telemundo. WHY the F*** should the heir apparent do him ANY FAVORS??

They don't exist. They could not get a $50,000 fight on ESPN 9. They have less leverage than Michael Spinks after the loss to Tyson (zero). All they can do is wait for a name or a promoter to give them a payday. They have no bargaining power or leverage. Itauma on the otherhand is a money machine now. His next fight will sell out a stadium whether it's against Mickey Mouse or Pee Wee Herman.

Turki is paying for all those fake matches, nobody is generating any money. Bivol - Beterbiev has been one of the highest level fights of the last 40 years and it barely had any positive revenue.

Yes Bivol and Beterbiev are victims of this Depression Era we are in. They deserve $25m a fight for their talents. Same thing back in the day when Devon Alexander vs Tim Bradley was made in Detroit in 2010 or 2011, super fight showdown of unbeatens, unification, but fans ignored it and it was a dud financially.

There are a lot of great fighters today in the modern era who are victims of this Depression Era.

A few fighters generate - Canelo, Paul, Tyson, Usyk, AJ, and I believe Itauma is next to join the club. Not sure if Crawford or Inoue draw on their own. Inoue needs a high profile rival and Bud vs Alimkhanuly unification could flop financially.

Just because Frank Warren has connections to Turki and provided some old stiffs (and is increasingly running out of them) does not take away that there has been no interest in taking on contemporary fighters like Torrez and Sanchez which could have been made before the end of the year against either of them, of which Turki could have financed both events either way. Does this not raise any concern about the credibility of the narrative ?
