Alexis Barriere vs Dave Allen wouldve been a better fight to make I think. I would like to see Mak in there with Zhang or Luis Ortiz. or Joyce. Slow brutal slugfests.

Makmudov vs AJ is a 50/50 shoot out in my eyes.

Yes Joshua is a lot better but his confidence and chin are shot, I give Arslenbek 50/50 of landing on AJ before he gets taken out

AJ is a lot better boxer than Dubois, just compare them both vs Usyk AJ could actually box with Usyk and even won a handful of rounds.

AJ should have been able to pick Dubois primitive attacks off but he has no confidence so he backed up immediately vs Dubois and got clipped leaning back.

Every chance Mak can do the same thing.

Makhmudov seems like a 5 round type of fighter, he empties the tank in those rounds then really gasses out. If Allen just stepped on the gas he could've got Mak out of there but he wasn't throwing and when he was he was telegraphing and smothering his work.

An aggressive AJ can overwhelm and KO Mak but if he is cautious in any form he gets splattered. Makhmudov is fundamentally sound and loads up with power, if AJ doesn't assert himself he'll get KO'd

Joshua beats Makhnudov with one hand behind. Mac is slow and predictable.

Nice ideas. Clarke or Adeleye are also good fights for Makhmudov.

Big Mak sits at 26th on Box Rec... Find me anyone in the Top 25 who won't beat him, let alone crush him ...

Arslanbek Makhmudov was clearly impressed with Dave Allen’s toughness and called him “not normal” in a positive way. He also made it obvious that he wants a big fight next, and Anthony Joshua is one of the names he’s openly targeting. Fans are curious to see if this matchup actually happens because Makhmudov’s power and Joshua’s experience would make for a wild clash.
