fundora is busy with his stuff and boots ennis is his mando i think, what does ortiz expect people to do just drop everything and fight him lol

there is a tried and tested way to a title shot which works a fair bit in boxing, u make yourself mando and then the title holder has to fight u or vacate

i have no sympathy for him whatsover, hes got good fights recently and got the rub of the green in a close one where he was dropped twice and is complaining like this and turning down title fights, wow hard to believe
ortiz is fundora's mandatory. wbc are the problem here. after getting a gift title shot (vacant belt), wbc let fundora fight 3 voluntaries in a row. the rules were mandatory after winning a vacant belt. since fundora had 2 belts and two mandatories waiting, the "normal" thing to do was to decide zayas or ortiz (order of mandatories wasn't agreed). but noooo. they let him fight neither.

ortiz' choice is wbc route (wbo was briefly an option but zayas ducked). ennis' choice is wba route. they won't fight until they are both champions. that means we first have to see fundora - ortiz and ennis - jermell/baraou mandatory fights. vergil's body can't make it much longer. middleweight will be his 4th division and he would be 0 division champion. such a shame.

ennis is ranked no1 by the wbc as well

having to wait 1 fight by the wbc is NOTHING new, they made benny wait for years, ortiz is in a perfect spot for a title shot & already turned down a title shot, he has NOTHING to complain about whatsoever

ortiz is mexican american, the wbc is mexican he just needs to wait his turn

For now I will just continue to trust my own judgement on who the best is in any given weight class. It is weird that a fighter like Vergil doesn't have a belt especially when you consider some of the guys that do. How much of that is Ortiz's managements fault or is it a lot of never being in the right place at the right time ? I do think that Vergil would beat most if not all of the belt holders in the weight classes that he has fought in.
Ortiz turned down a title shot because he wasn't able to weight bully Murtazaliev.

          i find this quite hilarious

i mean the guy must have been killing himself and i mean literally to stay at 147

he has lots of issues moves to 154 gets a very close call decision to be made interim champ by the wbc gets a great fight next v madrimov and because the wbc dont immediately call his shot goes into some sort of hizzy fit while at the same time turning down an offered shot at the ibf belt

now people are saying his body cant take his new weight class lol

im not buying any of his crap actually, hes in a far better position than most, he knows how boxing works with the wbc and ibf rules

Seriously I think it was oscar who said that ortiz lives a clean lifestyle. No smoking or drinking. So that pretty much just leaves gluttony. Or probably his illness/disease he has is more serious than any of us know.

hes probably just trying to do a devin haney and stick 10 or 15 pounds on his opponents, boxing allow it so no rule against it, they say that stuff is safer than weighting them before the fight but im not convinced at all
