    Bud vs Adames

Looks like Turki is setting up Bud for another great feat
Bud vs Adames is in talks now
Winner getting a shot to unify with the winner of Lara vs Janibek

Making him one of the best of our generation

    Who you got ???

Adames has some solid wins against dudes a little past their primes (Derevyanchenko, J-Rock, Molina, Gausha) and he got absolutely robbed against Sheeraz, but he doesn't have any wins at the elite level and he has a loss to Patrick Teixeira.

If this fight happens I've got Crawford pretty comfortably.

I suspect we get the Alimkhanuly/Lara winner vs Adames around April and Bud fights the Undisputed Middleweight Champion later in the year.

I can’t see Bud fighting twice in 2026, you’d have to go back to I think 2019 for the last time he fought twice in a calendar year.

I don't think both fights have to be in 2026, though. I think the alphabet soups would let Crawford wait until 2027 to get a piece of that Turki money.

It’s plausible but not exactly logical especially from a cost effective standpoint. I know the Saudi’s aren’t exactly trying to turn a profit on these events but do they really want to be paying Crawford mega money for an Adames and then Janibek/Lara fight?

None of the three are big names, the end goal is just to get the Bid a shot at 4 division Undisputed. Paying Crawford twice is far more expensive than paying for Janibek/Lara-Adames to unify first. Bud will also be nearly 40 in 2027, I feel time is of the essence too. I’m honestly not too sure Bud even has two more fights but who knows.

TBud might as well as retire if he's going to jeet out 2026

TBud and Usyk have also harmed boxing by normalizing the once a year program

now you're calling for once every 2 years

Learn to read, genius. The idea was 1 fight in 2026 and 1 more in 2027, which is the same rate he's been fighting at since COVID.

Crawford has said he wants two more fights all along, so who is the other fight against?

Unless it's a Canelo rematch or a sideshow MMA gongshow fight, I don't think any other guys at 160 or 168 are going to be bigger than Lara/Adames/Janibek. Maybe Eubank I guess, but that would be pretty underwhelming and nothing would really be at stake.
