Can Floyd Mayweather be considered an All-time-Great when he has never fought outside Vegas without hometown advantages?

I think he used it for one fight in the mid 00's if I remember correctly.

Oscar De La Hoya used it also, amongst others.

Firstly, you just lied and said he moved to Vegas to use Xylocaine. That's not true because you can't use Xylocaine in Vegas for the fight and also you don't even know if he even used Xylocaine at all for any of those fights.

Secondly, using Xylocaine is nothing alike to using plaster of paris. You can't hurt somebody using Xylocaine.

now you cant.. it wasnt always banned before.

it numbs your hand, so you can throw without the pain, which is why i said like margarito but without the actual plaster.

        Wrong.

It's been banned for 30+ years in Las Vegas. Lloyd Honeyghan tested positive for it in 1989.

You should do more research on this topic before passing comment.

Yeah I'm aware of what you said, but it's really really really really stupid.

Plaster of Paris is a weapon. It's essentially a hard brick like texture on your wraps that's sole purpose is to hurt and damage your opponent.

Xylocaine is a pain killer, used to protect the hands. If someone were to use Xylocaine, like Oscar De La Hoya did for example, it doesn't make your punches any more damaging or hurtful than it would without them.

These two substances are polar opposites of one another.

And on top of that, I don't see any evidence that Floyd even used Xylocaine. I remember there was a fight in the early 00's after the C.Hernadez fight when he broke his hand whereby he said he'd used it, obviously it wasn't illegal to do so as he didn't pop for it.

Other than that, when has he ever used it? I'm not aware of it for any fight.

so how did floyd used it in the past?

yes, it makes your punch more damaging since your hands are not hurting from it, so you can punch harder and throw more punches without the fear of hurting your hands.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) banned injections of Xylocaine (lidocaine) before the Floyd Mayweather vs. Ricky Hatton fight in December 2007. Although the specific date is not widely reported, the rule was in effect by that time.

Not how it works at all. It does not make your punches harder or more damaging at all.

You need to do a lot more research.

so it was only banned in vegas in 2007, not like you claimed for 30+ years. Not in vegas.

                    That's not true.

It's been banned in Vegas since atleast 1989.

Why do you think it was only banned from 2007?
