No, it's the way they pick people to enshrine that makes me wonder why.

Yes, I agree. It helps there are no real "name" fighters to steal votes from him.

On this ***ish Day of Atonement, I never want to disparage any IBHOF candidates. However, in the Observer category, one name missing is Joe Hand, Sr., who, for more than half a century, brought closed-circuit television, then PPV, into stadiums, arenas, restaurants, bars, homes and clubs around the country. In the Non-Participant category, where are promoters like Bobby Hitz, Fred Berns and Jimmy Burchfield. These men kept boxing alive away from the bright lights of Las Vegas and New York City. Jack Hurley's name still not on the ballot is a crime. Where are matchmaker Ron Katz and international agent Don Majeski. Will any of the myopic boxing writers ever have the intelligence to cast their vote for Eddie Muller, surely one of the great boxing writers of all-time?

I couldn’t be more happy for Gennady Golovkin’s HOF induction. I thought the way he was treated by the Nevada State Athletic Commission against Canelo Alvarez was both heartbreaking and shameful. He should have at least two victories on his record against Saul Alvarez by now.

I say induct the entire 2026 class into the IBHOF. They’ve all earned it. Since there is no criteria. Let them all in.

I know that they won’t because the system is corrupt. These boxing writers don’t vote based on merit.

They vote based on their values. They often vote for their favorite fighters. Whether said fighter is either good deserving or not.
