He has enough talent but not enough hunger.
        He won't be missed.

Well if it’s true. Then I wish him nothing but success in his retirement. I hope that he has invested his money well. So he doesn’t have to return to boxing because he is broke. We are going to miss you champ!

Davis REALLY doesn't want that Roach rematch.

That guy would defend Tank to the death, but I haven't seen him post in months, self imposed exile

Without question I agree. To me he sounds like a broken fighter whose confidence is at an all-time low. He has no more places to run and hide from the greater challenges and competition in boxing.

If he won’t rematch Lamont Roach then he must fight Shakur Stevenson. Boxing fans and writers alike are not gonna stop pressing him to start fighting stiffer opposition. These are legitimate questions.

Early on in his career, the hype was strong and I was incredibly impressed when he stopped Pedraza. Tank was young and hungry and I was a fan. After that point he was a bit of a disappointment, always fighting smaller guys or bigger guys who were compromised in some fashion.

He never really seemed to want those super fights that would expose him to danger or loss.
