"What I’ve seen with Lima, he comes forward ".........and THAT is the reason they hand picked Lima, because he is a simplistic, easy, come forward guy.
I like boxers to plan for the future but I don’t think he should be messing around with being a promoter. He is 28, which is not young, and he has not really achieved much in the ring for his abilities. He needs to focus on his own career and on being the best at light middleweight.
Tahoe, I live not far from there. Ran into Roy Jones and Gatti there. Perfect Winter Wonderland during the holidays.
Our family had a great trip during the winter holidays years ago.
On that trip we drove from Tahoe to Vegas and we stopped at a random restaurant inside an old hotel and it just happened to be Jack Dempsey themed. I thought it was the coolest thing. Couldn't tell you what city though.
I remember there were a series of cards from Reno/Tahoe that used to broadcast here on KCAL TV - young Juan Manuel Marquez was usually featured., he had a good number of fights there.
I may be wrong but it could have been for a pay off from the sparring sessions they had in preparation for the Terence Crawford fight. It wasn’t useful but Canelo still has to pay the man.
