Like I said in my previous reply, I half agree but genuinely believe that Canelo thought he'd beat Crawford. After all, he seemed very confident going into the fight plus let's not forget it was a CLOSE fight (115-113 on 2 scorecards).

No other Mexican fighter (or non-Mexican for that matter) has the drawing power of Canelo. However, Benavidez is an ELITE talent (just like Bam) plus both fighter's have very fan friendly styles. However, I think that Benavidez is more likely to inherit Canelo's fan base since he fights in a similar weight class.

Keep an eye out for Olympic Silver medallist Marco Verde too who recently turned pro as there's a lot of hype about him in Mexico.

Firstly, he already HAD a couple hundred million dollars in the bank so didn't need the money plus his Mexican pride cares more about racking up as few a losses as possible (just like how Marquez refused $100m for a 5th Pacquiao fight).

Therefore, Crawford beat him FAIR and square in a close fight and not a one-sided ass whooping as some people like to claim.

Lol...I have NO idea who the fuck that is but will take your word for it. And yeah, Crawford won the fight FAIR and square (although it was a close fight in my opinion and not a one-sided ass whooping like the Bivol loss).

Depends on weather Crawford stays in the division and what happens to Canelo but I'm super HIGH on this dude after his last performance. Very fan friendly style, super confident, dynamite in fists combined with an elite Cuban amateur background. However, I think he needs to prove himself against one of the other top contenders in the division first e.g. Sheeraz, Mbilli, Martinez, Pacheco etc but he definitely LOOKS the part.

No Mbilli since they are part of the same stable
                  Pacheco will run as usual
Sheeraz won’t fugh up the wet dream in hopes of getting the loot

Shishkin , imo , was a fantastic win and has scared away many who might of attempted to fight the Cuban

Very true...I rank Canelo's losses as follows:-

Mayweather - complete and utter domination
                    Bivol - one-sided ass whooping
Crawford - close (but comfortable) victory

I also think that's why Canelo DIDN'T seem pissed in the post-fight conference (unlike the Bivol loss) as he knew it was a close fight.
