Janibek vs Adames seems to be in the works

Janibek has been active on social media today, claiming that a long awaited middleweight clash is next and the Ring belt will be on the line.

So that has to be the Adames fight. This would be for the lineal, TBRB, Ring, WBC, IBF, and WBO middleweight world title. That would just leave Lara on an island with the WBA.

I hope Erislandy gets TBud fight

last standing Cuban deserves the recognition

no one expected Erislandy to have the better pro career than the masterful Rigondeaux and flashy Gamboa

The Lara fight makes a lot of sense for Crawford. Lara is pretty low risk as he'll be 43 by the time the fight could take place, and it would give Crawford a chance to acclimate to 160 before facing the Adames/Janibek winner.

Plus we know the WBA wouldn't strip Crawford, so even if he wanted to wait another year after the Lara fight he could.

As always, it's the IBF that could present an issue.

This will be Crawford's 4th different weight class in 4 consecutive fights if he goes to 160 next. Not easy for an older guy to do. He was plenty active pre-COVID.
