Canelo sucks, Mayweather sucks, Wilder Sucks, Joshua Su....what is it with boxing fans these days?

It's just like the guy at the racetrack yelling "Come on, you Nag!!!!" At one of the 100 best 3-year-old Thoroughbreds in the world, because he stands to lose his big 100 bucks. Being Critical of an athlete is part of the fun of being a sports fan. But, let's get real.

Boxing is the hardest major sport in the world, and nobody who can battle their way into the top 50 actually "Sucks".

If the kiddies on Boxing Scene really do believe in the things they post; I wonder if you also believe, for the purpose of exercising your Cynicism, random generalities like these:

Soccer is a feminine, weakling sport designed for children, where zero upper body strength is needed. For this reason, the sport is maintained as a children's game in the United States while the adult, professional version is largely ignored in spite of our media's attempts to push it like a Woke narrative.

MMA is a place that exists for fighter athletes who aren't good enough or confident enough to even try the bigger earnings potential available in Boxing, and these lower tier fighters are even allowed shortcuts like girly kicking, choking and quitting with a tap.

Grappling, Wrestling, BJJ are sports that become a daily passion for a straight man never ever, even once.

Basketball is a sport where, because of it's basket height and nature; being birth-defect tall is vastly more important than being a great athlete; or even a good one.

The prancing fruitcakes that populate professional Tennis are displaying the kind of feminine weakness that leads to the fall of Empires.

Golf is not an athletic sport because being an athlete doesn't make you play better. The caddy who carries the stuff might be considered an athlete because he's at least breaking a sweat; but not the golfer.

Boxing fans are like all other fans, most are good but the whinny childish ones draw more of your attention.

C'mon look at internet society as a whole, people make outlandish complaints and claims and most adults can't act like grown ups. Its just how things are nowadays with online discourse.

That being written, aren't you somewhat guilty of the same thing with what you wrote about other sports? You complain about boxing fans these days and then take the same tact towards athletes of other sports. Maybe your reason for doing that is the same reason for the boxing fans you complain about acting how they act.

American boxers went soft after Hopkins, Holyfield, Tyson, etc. Mayweather was a fraud pretender who always took the path of least resistance for the easiest money. His business blueprint is now the method all Americans use, except for Bud Crawford. After Bud, American boxing future looks awful because Tank is nothing, Teo is unreliable, Shakur and Haney just don't have it.

Those are not my opinions about other sports. Rather, they are hypothetical reflections of other sports employing the same kind of mindless cynicism it takes to say "Canelo isn't very good", and other such dismissives.

You're conflating the depressed males on this forum with "boxing fans". I don't believe they're representative.

You should start being a bit more ******* with the Ignore function. I feel like I've reached a critical mass now where the reading experience here has improved somewhat.

The "muh Canelo - Benavidez" crowd will be next for the cull.

                  Gotcha, my bad.

To be fair, there are a bunch of fans of other sports who act like- players today suck (same as the boxing fans now). NBA fans are pretty high on this list
