It would be a tough go just because of Andrade’s style I will admit that.
    Respect ^^:

so probably a draw robbery. Which would put more of mark on canelos legacy.

Alot of fighters really didnt run the gauntlet like the fighters in 70s, 80s and 90s.

Boxing in those days was a lot bigger and many more professionals in it. The top had 3-5 really strong boxers.

Nowadays it’s not as big, fewer gyms, fewer fighters. There is like 1-2 really strong boxers in a division.

Excuses. His career was a joke. He struggled with Euro level guys like Martinosyan, Sulecki, and Williams. He ducked the Charlos and Lara.

Zero top level wins in 33 pro fights. Clownshoes.

Old Mosely at the time Canelo beat him would be the best opponent on Andrade's resume, what happened to him against fat David is what happens when you try and game the system fight obscure euro fighters and never challenge yourself for 15 years protecting your 0 hoping to cash out without any risk.

              Fair.

I still think dragging an old faded mosley to 154lbs and beating him isnt really a creditable win at all but I do think you bring up a fair point.

My argument wasnt really here to support or promote Demetrius Andrade resume which is trash. It was more so styles make fights and it was a style that Canelo and Oscar wouldnt let near Canelo.

Not saying Demetrius Andrade is on the level of Floyd, Terrance or Bivol but he does have a style to beat Canelo at 154, 160 and when Canelo went on his own Euro Bum tour.

Struggled but it wasn't enough to Lure canelo for a easy win right ? If he was so trash Canelo should had fought him. It isnt like Canelo went on to face any real killers in his career. Just saying.

Lara is probably going to the Hall of fame which Demetrius Andrade isnt. I think Demetrius Andrade stated he was close friends with the Charlos. It was no different when canelo didnt want to fight anymore Mexicans then he reneged on that.

Canelo fought better, more well known fighters for more money.

Again, not getting the Canelo fight doesn't mean he gets a free pass for never getting a single good win in his entire career.

Look at Crawford. PBC froze him out for years but he was still able to pick up wins over Ricky Burns, Ray Beltran, Yuriorkis Gamboa, Viktor Postol, Julius Indongo, Jeff Horn, Amir Khan, Kell Brook, Shawn Porter, etc before he finally got the Spence fight he was chasing after.

You don't get credit for just saying names and then fighting no-hopers. Andrade is a clown of the highest order. An absolutely pathetic waste of a career.

lol he would have schooled Canelo? You're comparing Andrade to what is probably going to go down as an ATG in Crawford? At what point does a guy who quit like Andrade which showed his mental capacity compare to Crawford?

Andrade doesn't to get to have the luxury of a retroactive "would have done this." He's turned down more meaningful fights than maybe any other fighter and when finally stepped up to true world level, got stopped. You could say 168 was too far for him but he had multiple chances throughout the years to prove his merit and failed to do so.
