No, actually i havent heard any Pinoy say anything against any of their fighters. And Pac is as humble, i think Ricans have too much pride in themselves. As if you dont acknowledge the fact that im there in front of you, then i wont like you, even if i dont know you.

Puerto Ricans are envious of people like Cotto, but then only the ones that are close to him and were not successfull like him.. I am from Puerto Rico and puertorricans are like that. They can not accept when friends and relatives achieve more than them and then start acting ****** and this is what happens to Cotto's family and some people that dont like him because he got some achievements and money and he does what any man would do... drink and fk pretty ladies... what is wrong with that??????????

I guess they will always critizice him no matter what he does... but then if you dont like him he does not give a fk its ****** any way you look at this thread I dont care if someone likes or dislikes me I have a job a house a nice salary and my children and no one on this forum pays my salary.

People here are imbeciles when it comes to that. They expect him to be all hug and kisses when he is not a people's person, just because Tito and Juanma are doesn't mean Cotto has to be this fake fan-friendly person everyone expects him to be.

And just because he's PRican doesn't mean we have to be his fans. I'm an imbecile if I don't a person who happenens to be from the island as me? Makes no sense. People like whoever they wanna like, that doens't make them imbeciles. What would make a boxing fan an imbecile in this situation is if they refuse to watch his fights only because they don't like his personality. Not being a fan of his? This is actually what made me an even bigger fan of Cotto..his boxing style and his personality..I HATED when Tito came out show boating yelling Puelto Lico to the camera and trying to be all razzle dazzle.

I actually didn't like that either, and liked Cotto in the beginning because I thought he was humble, like you said. This is far from the truth. He is arrogant, aloof, and cold. Don't confuse his reluctance to be outgoing with humility, it is the exact opposite. Tito might be loud, but he's amiable, talkative, and upbeat. This is a sharp contrast to Cotto.

Cotto's humility is what makes him who he is IMO..he's about business..and to those who disowned him because of the incident with his uncle are using that as an excuse since he lost right before that..

This is just bull**** right here. The way they both acted just proves that they are not "humble" and "all business", but violent and sociopathic. Miguel started the problems by not wanting to do what his trainer (and uncle) told him, and Evangelista took it to another level with the brick-throwing. Surely y'all remember Jose Miguel shoving Evagelista in one of his fights. They are all the same, and I cant state it enough. Those who aren't his fans because of all this are NOT "making excuses", they simply find these actions deplorable, and I agree with them.

******est post ever; this makes no sense. Most PR's who hate Cotto (me included) are Tito fans. How can we be envious of Cotto if we are fans of a guy who has been A LOT more succesful than him?

Ricans dnt love or respect cotto like they did tito because unlike tito, cotto got his ass kicked in by a mexican in the biggest fight of his career and biggest "mexico vs puerto rico" fight since DLH vs Tito. Had he won that fight or atleast rematched and won hed be on titos level.

How can some PR people hate on their most popular fighter? I know two PR cats that I go to school with and they both dislike Cotto. They only like Tito and Lopez. I know the Mexican people support most of their fighters. For example, everyone loved Chavez, Moralez, Marg and others. Why all the hate?
