Can't believe the hate that some PR people have for Cotto!!!!

I was Aiming my friend Mason the other night, he is from PR and he said he was talking to his uncle (who still lives there) and his uncle said that Cotto is: "a fish and will only see punches hitting him in the face all night long"
I thought his family would be supporting Cotto, guess not though.

I root for him, as I do for every other PR fighter, since I like supporting the fighters from my island. The thing why some people hate/dislike or whatever you want to say is 'cause he's not "friendly" with the people (like Tito or Juanma). He is also a "hot dog" plus you had that whole family incident with his uncle. Family is family and it's always bad rep when you go against your own blood. He's a good fighter but as a person I don't think he's not the best (when compared to other of our Puerto Rican greats).

im puerto rican...and my uncle is rooting for pacman because of wat happend between him and his uncle, he said he needs to learn not to hit family memebers....lol

This so called hate you describe is only from a small minority. You'll find this type of hate from any nationality towards certain fighters. If your looking for Cotto to win a personality contest he probrably looses. If your looking for him to win a big fight he wins. As a whole Puerto Ricans will show much love we he enters that ring on Nov 14th and beyond.
