Inoue was green when he fought donaire. Bud never took.these fights so early in career. Yes inoue been dropped but that's mainly as he wants to put on a show👍 1Comment

The discussion is not about getting dropped. It's about getting hit. Every boxer has taken punches during a fight. TBud was brought up since fans on here view his defense as top notch. Floyd got hit, everyone does. Stop crying. This is a boxing forum, am I not allowed to talked about other boxers? Weirdo.👍 1Comment

Inoue was not at all green when he fought Donaire. His resume before the first Donaire fight (TBRB rankings used, regular/interim belts ignored):
W vs #10 Ryoichi Taguchi UD 10 (future WBA/IBF/Ring 108 champion)
W vs #1 Adrian Hernandez TKO 6 (former and reigning WBC 108 champion)
W vs #1 Omar Narvaez KO 2 (former WBO 112; reigning WBO 115 champion)
W vs #8 Kohei Kono TKO 6 (former 2X WBA 112 champion)
W vs #5 Jamie McDonnell TKO 1 (former IBF 118 champion)
W vs #5 Juan Carlos Payano KO 1 (former WBA 118 champion)
W vs #6 Emmanuel Rodriguez KO 2 (reigning and future IBF 118 champion)
Inoue accomplished more before the first Donaire fight than most champions accomplish in their entire careers.Comment

Donaire has a far superior resume to Cotto or Lara. It’s not even close. Roy Jones recently commented on Cotto, saying he maybe the best Puerto Rican boxer, but not the best boxer.
Also, it’s funny how sone ppl try to discredit Inoue’s win vs Donaire, because Nonito was 36 yrs old.
Yet Bivol beat a 38 yr old Beterbiev. Or Canelo questionably had a draw with a 35 yr old GGG.
The same ppl who say a 37 yr old Crawford and a 38 yr old Usyk are great, try to discredit the Donaire win. It’s nothing but hate.👍 1Comment

Inoue puts on more exciting fights than anyone when he’s aggressive. But as he showed vs MJ, he can also fight a different way. He’s nearly impossible to beat when he fights this way. I dont think anyone can compete with the speed and quality of the jab.
If you want to compare Usyk. Inoue has never gone to split dec, let alone a close fight. And Crawford chooses who he fights only once a year, and never fights mandatories. There are ups & down sides to all best guys.👍 1Comment

naoya knocked out donaire. ref counted to 10 and he needed 17 seconds to do that (i kid you not). nonito got up at 10. naoya already put his arms in the air to celebrate. then ref let nonito continue. naoya was confused for a second but resumed like nothing happened and never protested or mentioned that. that's why we still have people who say naoya struggled with nonito. no. it should have been a stoppage. great fight nevertheless.👍 1Comment

bud flopped around and got dropped vs kavalkius. so what? floyd got dropped by judah and flopped around the ring against corley. means little.
donaire was not a has been. such a false narrative. he was literally 7-0 with 7 kos at 118 and below when innoue fought him. he lost some fights above 118, came back down and beat the #3 fighter in the division, lost to inoue, then beat the #2 ranked fighter. has been? can you imagine someone beating the #2 and 3 ranked fighter in a division right now...oh hes a has been lol👍 2Comment

Theres also some crazy stat that says
after Inoue got his eye socket fractured and was seeing double vision, he went on auto-demolition mode and out-landed Donaire 2-1

and lets not even compare Mean Machine to Donaire
Everyone from Duran to Sugar Ray has been dropped, and they are at the top of the top because they put it all on the line to make exciting fights.
