    "FULTON !!!!"

    Zzzzzzz
is this the appeal to popularity fallacy? the lower weight divisions are never as popular as the higher ones but that doesnt mean the fighters there arent as good. i think fulton is probably more accomplished than lara. he has wins over top guys: Figueroa twice, leo now #1 at 126, and daniel roman. i dont see how you can dismiss fulton and hype lara?

for example inoue beat ryoichi taguchi...who is that? oh just a guy who became the champ after losing to inoue but no one knows who he is so i guess canelos win over berlanga is better because we have seen berlanga more? dont think so.

inoue has 17 top 10 wins and canelo has 15. inoue has beaten 9 guys who were the top rated contender or went on to be the top guy in the division. canelo has 4.

canelos best win is over 35 year old ggg and it was a dubious win. inoues best win is over 36 year old donaire and it was a clear win. inoues 2nd best win is a domination over fulton. canelos 2nd best win is lara who he barely beat. inoue's 3rd best win might be taguchi who he dominated. canelos 3rd best is trout, jabos or smith? smith was a domination but trout another very close fight. and jacobs pretty close. inoue just dominated akhmadaliev who is more accomplished than jacobs.

also canelo clearly has avoided fights while inoue hasnt. ggg for years and benavidez for years. i dont know of anyone inoue avoided. he offered roman gonzalez when he was on top and undefated a career high million dollar payday and was avoided. there were fights i would have liked to see for inoue but he didnt avoid anyone for years and years like canelo.

Inoue keeps getting hit by punches that someone at his level shouldn't be getting hit with, and gets hurt or dropped multiple times in different fights. He needs to tighten up his defence or he will be another brutal KO waiting to happen. He gets away with being fast and has power, but that will stop working at some point.

Puleaseeee!!! This is boxing. TBud got hit in his fight against Canelo too. When you are aggressive, you open yourself up more to getting caught. It's part of the game.

Donaire is a first ballot HOFer. WTF are YOU talking about.

And Cotto and Lara aren't? I love how you conveniently forget how Donaire got slapped by Rigo as a 2:1 favorite and smashed by Nicholas Walters. No, he doesn't belong above Lara and Cotto.

Lara is almost definitely not a Hall of Famer.

Lara vs world title winners (ignoring interim and regular):
D vs Carlos Molina MD 12
L vs Paul Williams MD 12
L vs Canelo Alvarez SD 12
W vs Ishe Smith UD 12

D vs Brian Castano SD 12
W vs Danny Garcia RTD 9

                    4-4-2 record

                    Donaire vs world title winners:
W vs Vic Darchinyan TKO 5

W vs Hernan Marquez TKO 8
W vs Volodymyr Sydorenko KO 4
W vs Fernando Montiel TKO 2
W vs Omar Narvaez UD 12
W vs Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. SD 12

L vs Guillermo Rigondeaux UD 12
W vs Vic Darchinyan TKO 9
W vs Simpiwe Vetyeka TD 5
L vs Nicholas Walters TKO 6
L vs Jessie Magdaleno UD 12
L vs Carl Frampton UD 12
W vs Ryan Burnett RTD 4
L vs Naoya Inoue UD 12
W vs Nordine Oubaali KO 4
L vs Naoya Inoue TKO 2
L vs Alexandro Santiago UD 12

                    14-7 record

                    Lara titles won:
                    WBA 154
                    WBA 160

                    Donaire titles won:
                    IBF 112
                    WBC and WBO 118
                    Ring, WBO, and IBF 122
                    WBA 126
                    WBO 122
                    WBA 118
                    WBC 118

This isn't even remotely close. It's honestly a joke that you would compare the two.
