Nope...they didn't just bring anybody from Africa, they bought the biggest, strongest, fittest men and women and only the fittest survived the slave journey as many died en route. Modern day African American's are their descendants. Go and watch the Michael Johnson documentary.

U obviously don't know who u talking to or my history on this forum.....I travel the entire world. I have been to 25 countries in africa physically. I know the literature & history up and down. Look up the "kingdom of dahomey" which were the largest slave traders to Europeans then any other group. 30% of dahomey sl@ve stock were Kids. In fact they would sell their own kids to Europeans es****ally if the kid had some kind of disability (can't run right can't move right, anything) you watch too many movies. The biggest and strongest africans were in cahoots with Europeans. Not the other way around......

Alot them west African slave traders were ****** too. Slavery in North Africa still going on and Mauritania.. just saying.

They were brutal.......& it just wasn't the west africans. Black americans also have Congolese, Angolan, Kenyan, Ugandian, to a lesser degree south african. They are pretty much a multi blend of ancestry of that continent . You couple that in with European ancestry, red indian, black or afro Indian ancestry. The people quite clearly become their own ethnic group. The point is u can't compare them to africans on the continent its just different. The tinansity is also totally very different. Africans usually are very subservient like people .....that is the total opposite for the black american. I don't even bet on africans when it comes to boxing.......love em but boxing is not you.

I've also done a lot of research on the subject and your theories make ZERO sense. For example, slave owner's would've specifically bought men and women to toil the fields, build infrastructure etc. Therefore, it would make sense for them to buy the biggest, strongest and fittest slaves of which only the STRONGEST survived the arduous slave journey as many died en route.

However, I'm not discounting the fact that there were many different types of slave owners or the fact that slaves were used for different purposes. However, in GENERAL, the biggest, strongest and fittest slaves were bought and then interbred for generations leading to physical and athletic advantages which corroborates the Michael Johnson documentary (just like how dogs and horses are selectively bred for racing).

the african continent is the toughest harshest on the planet seems to me, i mean u cant really compare the athletic achievements of most if not all of those countries to a country like america what has for example college systems to find and groom anyone who is athletic, its just apples and oranges, one sets people up to succeed and find their best the other is just something unmanageable for most of its inhabitants with surviving being no1 goal

I dont compare FBAs to Africans at all. At all. Never did.

It's a damn shame and so sad and unfortunate that the sport of boxing has become so tribal today. Fans are not rooting for their favorite fighters.

Boxing fans are rooting for fighters who share the hue, ethnicity and look like them. This fight was never about race but many boxing pundits and fans alike have made it so.

The people who were supporting Canelo were biased and largely non-black. They always knew that Bud was the better and overall fighter but they were rooting for Canelo anyway; Simply because they wanted Crawford to lose.

fighting has always been tribal. just don't allow the ethnic tribalism to blind you
