Black Americans tend to dominate boxing (and other US sports) simply because they're the modern day descendants of slavery where only the biggest, strongest, fittest men AND women were brought to the West and survived the arduous slave journey (plenty died on route). Jamaica was the final stop for the slave ships which is why they dominate track & field.

In comparison, Black Africans DON'T dominate a single sport but do produce their fair share of top MMA, boxers, soccer athletes etc.

However, boxing is much more competitive nowadays...just take a look at the current p4p top 10 rankings & list of champions. This is probably due to a lack of hunger from Americans in general due to first world living conditions and a sedentary lifestyle plus Black Americans intermarrying and breeding out their 'superior' genetics.

I am comparing them to any type of American, foreign born American citizen or home grown and saying overall black americans are the best at American sports and definitely boxing.

You also gotta remember black americans are older than most African countries. When blacks came to America. There was no Nigeria, modern day mali, Ghana, togo, Sudan , Congo and etc. Those new countries borderlands got made during colonialism. Black Americans were already in America for hundreds of year home grown. So black americans country of orgin is America and historically they have stayed in America since the 1600-1700s.

I am proud to be an American. I love being black and I respect my culture. At the same time that doesnt make me better than anyone else or anyone else being inferior as humans. We are just talking about sports here thats all. Not that deep.
