You misunderstood me...Black American's will ALWAYS be a major force in boxing due to their strong history in the sport. A bit like how Brazil will always continue to produce world class footballers or India in cricket or New Zealand in rugby. However, they are NO longer the DOMINANT force and regularly lose to Asian/Hispanic/White fighter's (and vice-versa).

In fact, just take a look at the faces of the current champions and top contenders across ALL weight categories and you'll quickly realise that Blacks are NO longer the dominant force.

and kovalev i mean he won the first ward fight and was robbed and then the second fight was close and ward was cheating and the ref allowed him to and actually waved the fight off on a foul lol

the funny thing about that ward kovalev fights was that not only did ward rob kovalevs titles but he also robbed him in the rematch, i mean after the first fight did poor ppv numbers jayz and roc nation gave ward an amazing 6.5 mil guarantee with kovalev getting no guarantee and a much lower purse based on even poorer ppv numbers in the 2nd fight lol, its was a classic double whammey

its a bit of a silly point tho, all it illustrates is that close fights almost always go to the home fighter, i dont see much glory in those type of fights at all, they are basically rigged unless u can KO or clearly beat that person

There's literally thousands of high schools in America and probably thousands of colleges filled with 6ft tall basketball players. Just because they dont make it to the NBA isnt my point. My point is they spend their time doing other sports besides boxing thats the point. Its not marketed towards large boys anymore football and basketball are. Once their hoop dreams get cut short at 21. They will just work a 9 to 5 not pick up boxing.
