    Bud just might DO it

Putting skills to one side...what really stands out about Crawford is the amount of self-belief he has in himself. It's scary. We've heard boxers over the years say they're going to win but there's always a small element of FEAR in their voice. However, Crawford has none and GENUINELY believes with his soul that he'll win and you can tell in the way he speaks and carries himself. In fact, in this regard, he might just be the best boxer doing this right now.

It will be interesting to see how the fight plays out but I wouldn't be surprised if he managed to pull off the upset like Buster Douglas who promised he'd win for his deceased mother.

Finally, someone gets it! What do you mean that Bud just might do it? He is going to do it. Bud said his strategy is to start early and win every round.

That’s what I have been saying for these past few weeks. The reason being is that he is the hungrier of the two and wants it a lot more.

Lol it's not a done deal but I can assure you that he has absolutely ZERO fear of Canelo and fighting 2 weight division higher than usual which is truly frightening. I remember when Brook jumped up a couple of weight classes to face GGG the fear was palpable. Especially during his ring walk. When you take fear out of the equation, ANYTHING is possible.

A lot of credit for his mindset must also go to Bivol who already revealed the blueprint on how to beat Canelo.

Yes, bud sounds like he believes in himself. But for a lot of his career he conducted it like he didnt. Bud has more belief than floyd, who needed a cw at 154? So I'n that sense bud is already instantly greater.
Don't know if bud can pull it off, but bud believing in himself can only help people believe in him too

Don’t get your hopes up too much—this could turn out like a Tom & Jerry chase or the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight, with Bud taking the Jerry role, run and hugs like Floyd Mayweather did.

Bud does appear to be supremely confident in himself. But what does that really mean? He’s a great fighter who’s known nothing but success. Crawford is a true champion, and champions always think that way. He’s about to step in the ring with another champion — a true champion who’s naturally bigger and stronger. The problem with being supremely confident is that coming down off it can be devastating. We’ll see in a few hours if Crawford is justified.

Based on the micro expressions on TBud's face I do not see the confidence at all

Bivol's Cousin Madrimov connecting on TBud with 3 straights in a row forever etched in memory

TBud is neither as defensively savvy as Floyd nor Bivol

Saul is good enough to land 1 to 2 hard rights per round

Self-belief is the first step…self-belief combined with p4p#1 talent (which he has) is a whole different story. That’s why he dismantled Spence so easily and could be catching Canelo at the right time.

the overall expression demeanor and energy

It’s Saul with the idgaf irreverent confidence to him

the TBuddies can explain the supreme confidence they’re seeing in TBud

                    Bivol Artur indicated equals

Floyd manny manny did not look as comfortable as usual. Ironically Floyd being quiet without trolling gave manny the nerves

Nonito tried way too hard to punk Rigondeaux because Nonito was lacking
