Comments Thread For: Eddie Hearn 'goaded' Naoya Inoue into taking fight against Murodjon Akhmadaliev

"They?ve ducked MJ for over a year, and in the end, I?ve just goaded him enough to do it," said Hearn this afternoon in Belfast.

The only thing Hearn is good at goading is AJ into thinking he's back. Stick to that.

Yeah, that's the reason and not Inoue's persistent willingness to fight the best.

This ducking narrative is absurd. MJ has done nothing since the Tapales loss to warrant this fight. He's got here through strategic matchmaking and manipulation of the WBA.

With that said, I'm glad it's happening and to see MJ get what he's been asking for.

It is so annoying that any time a fight doesn’t happen its immediately called a duck by the bigger earner.

Be careful what you wish for.

            Good fighters Akhmadaliev has faced:
W vs Danny Roman SD 12 (robbery, Roman easily won 8 rounds)
W vs Ryosuke Iwasa TKO 5
L vs Marlon Tapales SD 12

That's it. That's his whole career.

Meanwhile Inoue is 15-0 against world titlists, 15-0 against the TBRB top 10, 10-0 against the TBRB top 5, and 5-0 against the top rated TBRB fighter other than himself in his division.

Akhmadaliev is just another routine fight for Inoue.

Now MJ is going to know who to blame for the whooping he's going to get on Sunday.

I don't know where Eddy "the used car salesman" gets the idea that Akhmadaliev is so much better than Cardenas. i really don't.

Anyone have any information about where we can watch the card ? I'm seeing ESPN on some sites and Netflix on others.

                    Akhmadaliev held the belts.

He won them in a fight than he probably deserved to lose on the cards, but he held two world titles.

Just goes to show how useless the belts really are these days.
