I wish this this article was wrong but it's not, it's 100% accurate. I don't blame the fighters or the fans. There are no cops on the beat, the sanctioning bodies no longer apply rules across the board. his promoter is hardly ever seen in public and never speaks up his fighters. canelo mentioning his name in public is more than benavidez own promoter has done in a decade. he should be thanking canelo


and isnt the fight that should be taking place is bivol-benavidez, ?? where is bivol by the way?? did he ever provide proof of his injury like they requested?

'I don't blame the fans' 'social media helps sell it to the ignorant masses' those 'fans' are the ignorant masses who have hyped up the fight to the point it got made. I don't blame Turki he is the so called 'casual fan' so when he sees people talk about Bud Canelo then the hype built he went to make that fight. Fans should have put more pressure on Benavidez Canelo and Turki im sure would have thrown money at that instead. But it got to a point where Bud Canelo sadly got more social media hype than Benavidez Canelo to the point the fight got made. Because the 'casual fan' is the bigger market and they are the ones who got caught up into the Bud Canelo hype because of their names
