I wish this this article was wrong but it's not, it's 100% accurate. I don't blame the fighters or the fans. There are no cops on the beat, the sanctioning bodies no longer apply rules across the board. But hey, this is boxing in an unchecked capitalistic world where the guy with the biggest wallet rewrites rules and social media helps sell it to the ignorant masses.

his promoter is hardly ever seen in public and never speaks up his fighters. canelo mentioning his name in public is more than benavidez own promoter has done in a decade. he should be thanking canelo


and isnt the fight that should be taking place is bivol-benavidez, ?? where is bivol by the way?? did he ever provide proof of his injury like they requested?

but again, because benavidez only operates under the specter of canelo,ppeople still think hes a super middleweight.
