Well, no they don’t but, realistically, how much hope would you give Conlan v Ball or Espinoza? I think his best chance is that Fulton steps up to 130 to fight Oshaquie. That will mean 2 fighters get to fight for that vacant belt and one can be Conlan.

Not true at all.
Rey Vargas is WBC 126 champion-in-recess and once Fulton vacates he will be reinstated as WBC 126 champion and must defend immediately against Carlos Castro.
Additionally, Bruce Carrington is the current WBC interim 126 champion.
That is a shame, I would love to have Conlan fight ShuShu. The fight might be dull but the build up would be brilliant! Conlan and Carrington have this in common, they are both good boxers and they both think they are exceptional fighters, and they are not all that.
