Lennox is a legend but he says dumb things. He hyped up Wilder because he worked for PBC TV and took money from Haymon. He predicted Vitali would lose to Kirk Johnson and Corrie Sanders. Lennox may be right this time but he may be wrong again. Anderson may have had some ability but he has a ten cent head and no heart. Even before he lost he was talking about retiring before 30. I knew he was done then. No heart. Itauma has everything.

Fighting Moses at this point and time is a LOSE LOSE for Uysk. If Usyk defeats him everyone will say Moses was over hyped and unworthy, a fraud. And if Moses defeats Usyk his legacy will be tarnished and people will question if Usyk is as good as everyone seems to think he is to lose to such a green fighter. Usyk should give Parker his shot and then retire if he wants one more fight.Comment

Moses is the same age as Mike Tyson was when he became the youngest HW champion ever. However, He's had less than half the number of fights Mike had at this point and whilst Mike's record was hardly a murderer's row, neither is Itauma's. I don't think beating Dillian Whyte at this point in Whyte's career is as significant as some are suggesting, Dillian was never top tier & is somewhat shopworn at this point. Additionally, Mike was up against Trevor Berbick, who hardly compares to Usyk. Whilst Itauma appears to have enough in the armoury to stop Usyk, I'd be surprised if he had enough upstairs to make that count right now. I think Usyk would outsmart him and tire him out. If Moses were to fight Hrgovic next and defeat him, whilst Usyk had a tough out v Parker (who surely deserves the shot first) then Usyk v Itauma would be more of a 50-50 in my opinion. But if Moses' team think he's ready now & the opportunity is there, why not? He's young enough to come again should he lose.
How do we all think a 20 year old Iron Mike would have fared had he been up against Usyk rather than Berbick?👍 1Comment

My prediction is that the heavyweight division will lose its glamour again over the next decade.
If Moses waits and dominates an underwhelming division, then his resume will be criticised for not having depth as the division will produce fewer stars.
If he wants to be truly great then he goes to Usyk. It's high risk but his career will recover if he loses.
Lewis is playing chess. Don't expose your king. But he should also know better than anyone that in boxing you have to beat the big names to get respect - even if you get to them late in their career.Last edited by Toffee; 09-04-2025, 03:36 AM.Comment

Just cos hes the last great brit hope coming through after the disappointment of Sniffles Dubois, the exposing of Princess Joshys emotional fragility and the boar testicle eating bullshït of the Gypsy Sausage doesnt mean there's a dearth of fighters coming through.
The next wave of legit heavyweights are Pasifikans. For every David Tua or Joseph Parker, Jai Opetaia or Teremoana jr there are hundreds more of us with the same higher bone density, fast muscle twitch and built for contact sport looking for an opportunity to shine.
The future of heavies is bright but get used to the fact that U.K fighters won't be dominant because the era of overrated protected frauds Fisheyes and Fast Eddie have been serving up is well and truly over.
Lennox knows Itauma ain't all that. I'm fücked if i know why seemingly nobody else does.

Is Joshua willing to cash out for a huge pay day and lose to young lion?Comment

Usyk vs Moses has a level of intrigue that matches pretty much anything in Boxing history, and let's be honest, it's either very soon or never. Nash is all in for this fight. Moses has tools that pose massive potential problems to Usyk. Do Parker or Kabayel? Absolutely not. Walks in the park. Moses might get found out, but he might not. We need to see this. It simply has to happen. Nash out - His MajestyComment
