Similar to Leonard vs Duran 1, Vitali vs Lennox, Azumah Nelson vs Salvador Sanchez, Mike Tyson vs Quick Tillis and Berbick.

Itauma is ready for Usyk - if he believes he is. Lennox seems to be overprotective of Itauma and that "protection" BS is what ruined the sport. Go for it. Dare to be great now. Lennox is an all time great but he's wrong here, Itauma is ready for the title shot vs the goat.
Most People Don’t Know _ _it About Boxing!

Lennox is a legend and he’s on point because you destroy a former contender with no chin and talent any longer doesn’t mean you can handle the top tier guys, but this is obviously the opinion of those whom never have laced them up! The kid is young and green just look at his past fights, it shows and will be exposed if you not willing to develop and learn the craft 1st. Power is one thing being young is another, prime example Jared Anderson talent with no defense and not developing so he crashed when he didn't have too! Jared had the type of natural ability you can't even teach and most never develope however due to dedication and rushing due to people in your ear he faltered.

They are trying to move this kid way too fast and hand him his first 0. He is nowhere near ready for Usyk. That so many boxing fans think he is based on Dillian Whyte as their barometer is confounding. But hey, if they want him to get absolutely washed already, make the fight. I'll watch it.

Usyk only a few fights left. Should be passing of the guard. Not sure itauma will be the one to get handed baton. But if chance to fight usyk is there then that's tempting as a great way to kick start career

          Typical thug mentality.
"your young and fresh and he's old and getting slower"

No sense of honor or daring to be great

I'd get Itauma back by end of year vs Hgrovic, Zhang, Wardley, Anderson or Terremoana - let Usyk fight Kabayel, Parker or Wardley in Spring 2026.
If they both win and Itauma does so impressively let them fight.
This building fighters up slowly until the perfect time is what is killing the sport.
If Usyk still not ready by summer next year and Dubois gets a confidence building win then let the two fight.
If Itauma beats Hgrovic and Dubois the clamour for them to fight will be irresistible.
The downside to that is Usyk will be a year older and with more wear and tear.
That's why I'm not totally against making it now. Usyk has all the smarts but Itauma has quicker hands and more reach. If he loses he can rebuild, he's 20 FFS.

Lewis says, duck Usyk, age him out and take the email belt.

Andy Lee says Parker and Itauma went to war in sparring.
YungMo says he is he's not ready for Usyk or Parker.

Teremoana Jr says bring the noise!

I say, the MoSuss hype is only cos hes British.

The recent Hrgovic rumor adds weight to him being on Moses' recent undercard for a reason.

I could not disagree with Lennox more. If you wait for Usyk to retire and don't take the opportunity people will forever wonder what would have happened had they fought or criticize Moses for not fighting him and ducking him etc forever. Obviously if he's not ready then yeah wait for the time to be right but don't be purposefully waiting for him to retire. That's not the right thing to do.

He should probably wait, Usyk has too many tools, but imagine if he wins. The Klitschkos never had a great fighter to beat which could have been their spring board to super stardom and they never achieved super stardom in the United States. If one of them had rendered Lennox Lewis unconscious they would have achieved a higher profile. Instead we got an era when Tony Thompson was one of the top contenders for years.
