I honestly thought he and Joshua would do the big dance they always avoided for one more huge paycheck each. But Wilder is a notorious trash talker, and the absence of Joshua from his teams talk tells me that the goal may be just Wilder making a series of small paydays against harmless, limited opponents. Just sell his name, hope for a few KO's so he is still marketable for a couple more years, never leave Alabama, and not worry about the big dangerous guys. So I feel this version of Wilder will be the same as.... well, the prime version of Wilder.
I cannot remember who said on these forums and I hate not giving credit to them, but one of the long time posters was floating Wilder's name as the perfect goodbye fight for Usyk. If Wilder and his team can find a few wins in a row, maybe he was spot on and that is the perfect last fight for Wilder and his overrated, but successful, career.Comment

He's prolly got a mansion or two, a fleet of pimped out rides, a bevy of guns and some truly ugly costumes and jëwelry he can sell to feed his kids.
Begging for a fight against an overhyped MMA guy with an 0 and 2 record is embarrassing !
I bet that ho Malik put him up to this...Comment
