shakur is now in 135 no mans land waiting for the tank bus that will never come LOL

tank has outlasted everyone at 135 he ducked and dodged literally the whole lot of them and now even shakur might be leaving 135 leaving tank to cherry pick whoever he wants, he might even go for a belt or hell u never know a unification but ill believe it when i see it of course, he might just retire calling himself the best of his generation and his fans will lap it up for some odd reason, i mean balitmore must have the weirdest boxing fans on the planet pandering to this little clown

well his fight before that was a very poor showing v catterall actually most thought he lost and was awarded a very dubious decision win and he ducked the rematch like the plague

The top boxers in the modern era don't fight often and rarely fight each other. Robinson fought 200+ fights, even Duran & Chavez over 100. Now they won't fight if there is not a fortune promised. Teofimo & these guys are wasting their talent and time on social media. Then people are always saying "boxing is in trouble." There's no one at the wheel--it's a free-for-all.

Okay, I can see that. Had you said this after it happened, I would've argued it was a bad style matchup but he clearly declined in each bout afterwards.

Taylor was showing signs of decline before the Catterall fight. I think the last time we saw Taylor at his 100% best was Prograis (2019). He started fighting once a year afterwards, with his most significant victory being Ramirez (2021). After Prograis, he started having eye issues. After Catterall 1, he suffered a foot injury.

The way I perceived Taylor/Teofimo when it happened: someone who's showing physical deterioration vs. someone who's showing mental weakness. Teofimo held it together mentally and got the win. Taylor was still fair-game when Teo fought him, but he wasn't in his prime anymore. A combination of inactivity, injury and (maybe) lack of discipline was ultimately Taylor's undoing. At best, we can say the Teo fight was the certifiable end of Taylor's prime. In hindsight, maybe Taylor should've moved up to 147 after Ramirez.

He was a drunk and he was weight draining him self because he knew he couldnt compete at 147. Plus he lost that fight against Jack. So really he wasn't "undefeated".

I doubt this fight gets accepted by Teo. Talking about being interested keeps his name out there but I'm not sure I see a scenario where Lopez beats Shakur. Its just a bad matchup for him, I think his Pops and his promotion know that as well.

Teo prefers fighters that don't box too much or move too much. We saw the issues he had with Sandor and the Jamaine.

shakur has come from 126 with teo almost dying at 135 trying to stay there so there should be no reasons why hes not confident to take the fight, haney is a different kettle of fish, who knows what he weighs now and teo knowing this and haneys style said no thanks to 11 mil from turki LOL, bit of a bit-ch ass move really
