Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder tells Francis Ngannou to ?step into the ring?

It?s uncertain what the next professional step is for former heavyweight titleholder Deontay Wilder, but it could be forward ? into a fight with another famously heavy hitter.

No AJ/Wilder or AJ/Fury after like a decade but they're all gonna fight an MMA fighter with zero wins in boxing.

You mean the MMA fighter in his first fight that should have got the nod against a big fat wobbly bucket of lard dirty stinky caravan dodger?
is that the one you mean? 1st fight in boxing then face another top flight heavyweight? How many mma fighters have that as an achievement?
Wilder got found out, he’s very beatable in this potential dust up.

I agree but it has nothing to do with what I said. Its like you're taking my post as a criticism of Ngannou, its not at all, fair play to him for getting paid. Its a criticism of Fury, AJ and Wilder, and boxing for allowing them to fight him. AJ/Ngannou, Fury/Ngannou and possibly Wilder/Ngannou happening within a short space of time when we never got AJ/Wilder or AJ/Fury is some BS.

With full respect to Ngannou, a very tough guy in another sport, I am not keen on any novelty fights like Ngannou or Jake Paul for big name boxers who likely have just a small number of fights left and numerous boxing opponents not yet faced.

Damn! If only Deontay Wilder could still hit. There are still a lot of good potential fights out there available for him but without his power they are now mismatches; Like Ngannou, Paul, Chisora, Whyte or even Anthony Joshua

I agree. It’s because he can no longer hit.

Wilder was a manufactured, dime-store version of Primo Carnera. But now he joins the chorus of faded names chasing the circus before it leaves town. Wilder’s more than happy to bark at Ngannou and Jake Paul pathetically begging for a golden ticket to the freak show. But, the plain and sad reality is that Wilder is no longer relevant in a sport that never misses an opportunity to punch itself in the face.

Ngannou gets beat by anyone with a straight 1-2 and the ability to move their feet away when he telegraphs.
