what can u do? so fundora turned him down, lubin his mando didnt want the fight and ortiz cryed off as well lol

these guys create the hype of avoided when they turn down the fight, what else are people supposed to think, if they thought he was easy peasy they would just sign and take the belt but they dont, funny thing is that the russian most likely will get beat soon by someone else making these guys look even more foolish

I absolutely agree! What fighter in their right mind wouldn't want to challenge for a major world title? What these fighters are doing by ducking Bakhram Murtazaliev is completely insane.

Lather, rinse, repeat with this "avoiding Bakhram" B.S. The reasons for not fighting him are totally legit. And the most telling thing about this article is Duva confirming what Lubin said was a concern of his about the fight happening at all: no broadcaster interest. So, if there's blame to go around, blame the broadcasters, not the fighters. That's a totally legitimate concern for a fighter. The broadcasters need to get their act together because Murtazaliev, being a legit champion, should have someplace with good exposure to defend his title. It's not like he's a minimumweight champion. He's in the hottest/deepest division in all of boxing. Of course, the broadcasting landscape is pretty dismal overall right now - it's not just a Murtazaliev thing - with Top Rank not even having a home along with PBC putting on only 3-4 cards a year. It's basically DAZN or nothing right now. Maybe Main Events can get Bakhram on a Boxxer show now that they just finalized a deal with the BBC, especially since Josh Kelly is the targeted fighter.

Why doesn’t bootsy fight bakram? They are the same sanctioning body(IBF). Fundora should either unify or fight Ortiz who earned his spot. Ortiz lined up as the next in line for the WBC so it doesn’t make much sense to lose that spot to fight bakram unless it’s a unification Ortiz pays fees to the wbc not IBF.

Would Boxingscene/Proboxtv on YouTube be a good platform for Bakhram Murtazaliev to show case his skills? I mean both the channel and app is completely free with no subscription.

Also shouldn’t his promoter be the one who supposed to secure a platform? How about DAZN, Peacock or Amazon Prime?

Yes, those were back in the good ole’ days. Fighters back then were gladiators and not divas as they are today.

The average contemporary fighter of today is afraid of the asswhoopings.

Which is why they avoid high risk/low reward fighters like Bakhram Murtazaliev.
