Could be true but reality is Bahkram stopped Culcay who is far better than Kelly. Better pro career and better amateur career. Talk all the ish you want about Tim Tszyu but he was considered the next guy to take over the division was only dropped once before he faced Bakhram and went 12 rounds with Fundora even though he couldn't see anything.Something is telling me that Murtazaliev is an overhyped overnight and over rated sensation. He knocked out Tim Tszyu. So what?
What other notables names he has knocked out before; No one? Tim Tszyu is both chinny and lacks real punching power at 154.
After all, the man has been dropped to the canvas for combined total of 7 times in his career and lost to Sebastian Fundora for crying out loud.
All of that doesn't even matter since Kelly on the other hand never beat anyone he got dogwalked by a guy who is not even close to the level of Culcay or Tim Tszyu. Talking down about former world champions and guys who lost at world level yet Kelly never faced let alone beat anyone at that level.Comment

Tszyu was only average at best to begin with. His knockout win against him shouldn't be a feather in his hat. Fundora has defeated the same man twice already and one by way of TKO too. So that fact alone; In and of itself should help minimize some of his victory over Tim Tszyu.what actually creates the hype around certain guys is the fighters themselves who are clearly unwilling to fight the guy simply because they had one good performance & are not willing to take the risk, this creates the hype that the boxer is avoided and it is actually true until someone good or even decent comes along and proves it otherwise👍 1Comment

Was Culcay a contender ranked in the top 15 of any sanctioning body at the time when he knocked him out?

You posted the below back in August. What happened to the destructive performance you were predicting?Kelly did his best i guess. Bakhram looked flat. However Kelly did not win this fight. Judging is really something. William Scull lost and it was called running and embarassing performance even though he threw way more than Canelo and landed as much as Canelo. Here Kelly threw way less was completely inactive getting hit with Jabs constantly and eating bodyshots and all he did was putting on his antics but somehow he got the decision.
Sorry you can't throw 4 potshots every round and missing 3 of them and win the fight.
Murtazaliev replied: “The main thing is, don’t do anything to yourself before our fight.”
Wouldn't bet on that one. Kelly will be punished so bad, the best thing what can happento him is a quick knockout the worst thing is a severe beating into retirement.
Kelly is so overrated people say Murta never faced anyone reality is he beat 2 guys that are way better than all of Kellys opponents and Kelly got smashed by a C level fighter and also got hurt bad by a D level fighter.
People crap on Uisma vs Ennis but reality is Uisma would also stop Kelly like every top 15 guy would.Comment
