Good for his resume, decent for his record

Saul has a legendary resume and misleading record

resume is a list of names

record is wins and losses with context and circumstances going into the fights

Everybody knows Golovkin won the first 2 fights...Canelo got a GIFT as per the draw scorecard against Mayweather.

GGG’s 0, MW titles, and legacy sit on Canelo’s mantle for all time. Cry more.

              Saul record is misleading

golovkin deserved a win or two over Saul

I thought Austin beat him while Erislandy drew with him

give him two extra losses + a draw and Saul would go from a shallow great to just knocking on the doors of great

Saul was the most judge protected fighter ever. PPV GOAT Floyd was on his way out.

The powers that be needed to manufacture a star to keep boxing going.

              Saul was him.

golovkin the most risk averse in recent times

resume lacking outside of Saul fights

Happy to reign over a flabby middleweight era

Refused to change weight classes to face better

back in the day Ezzard Charles lacked opportunities at 175 he went up to heavyweight

golovkin wasn’t a risk taker at all

Ward cleaned out 168 then moved up one to face Kovalev

I look at Canelo vs Charlo for comparison. Charlo moves up 2 weight classes too. Charlo got dropped and as a result, fought scared the rest of the bout.

But, pound for pound, Crawford is levels above Charlo.

It’s a question of can Crawford handle Canelo’s power. If he can, which I’m thinking he can, he very well could win. Crawford has more tools in the tool bag than Canelo.

Plus, and while Canelo is nowhere near done, he is just slightly past prime. More so then Crawford anyways.

But the size is a factor here.

If they were the same body type / size, Crawford beats the breaks off of Canelo. Canelo might be too big here, but Crawford could also be too skilled.

We shall see. I think it’s an intriguing match up and a style mesh.

I think Crawford would be a stylistic nightmare for someone like Canelo.

I’ll be surprised af if TBud goes into survival mode like Charlo did

T a boxer with the temperament of a brawler

He likes to get his payback instantly

this is a disbeliever of revenge is a dish best served cold

Why should he? Hes fighting another small guy from 3 weight classes below. The farce of boxing is continuing to fight meaningless opps to end his career
