Just asking, because everybody acts like it is 50 -50 fight.

I never really understand who threads like this are directed at. The wider public will continue to give him lots of credit. The hypercritical, angry losers on this forum will never change. Their opinions don't matter.

It's interesting to see how everyone perceives the situation as a 50-50 fight. Perspectives can really vary! It reminds me of the balance in games like Cookie Clicker , where every decision impacts the outcome. If you haven't checked it out yet, it could be a fun way to unwind and think about strategy.

I think the people who thinks bud beats Nel o should give Nel o credit. That's just good manners

Hell no. You dont get much credit for beating a guy moving up 2 divisions to fight you. Crawford's only had one fight at 154 for cripes sake. It's Mayweather-Marquez all over again.

But some see bud as quite a big dude?. Some believe Nel o has dropped from prime more than bud has. So if Nel o wins, you might think nelo has not dropped as much as you initially thought.

The hardcore boxing fans, know? That Canelo Alvarez should win this fight 'If he can still train himself into solid condition. Terrence Crawford skill for skill is not the best fighter Alvarez has ever fought win or lose. Whereas? Canelo Alvarez even at this latter stage of his career, is most likely the best and most formidable fighter Terrence Crawford has ever fought'.

Canelo Alvarez is the Goliath in this fight, and Terrence Crawford is playing David 'Crawford is seen as the challenger, and the fighter who has the most obstacles to overcome. Which are both the skill and ability of Alvarez, and the venture into the unknown territory of the Super Middle Weight Divisions. 168 pounds fighting Weight limit'.

So if Canelo Alvarez was to win via stoppage 'I don't think people within the boxing community, would reacted wildly. They would just acknowledge that it was a solid win and performance'.

But I will say this? Canelo Alvarez beating Terrence Crawford 'Is a better win, than Oleksandr Uysk beating Daniel Dubois I & II. But I don't expect anyone in the boxing community and media to hype the win like it was an all-time great win. In the same way certain folk have been over exaggerating the significance of Uysk beating Dubois'.

Note: Terrence Crawford is one of the best fighters pound for pound of his generation 'next to Oleksandr Uysk, he is the most accomplished active fighter in the sport. In my opinion, beating Terrence Crawford even at 168 pounds is a by far superior win than beating Daniel Dubois'.

Daniel Dubois is a front runner at top level 'And had already been smashed up before fighting Oleksandr Uysk. Everyone in the sport is aware of the blue print on how to beat Dubois. There are only theories which current fighters have, which they may believe can beat Terrence Crawford'.

To conclude: From my perspective, I am expecting Canelo Alvarez to win 'If he is anywhere near even 70 to 80% of his peak game. And the only reason why I say that? Is because win or lose Alvarez for many years skill for skill, has been competing against fighters who I believe to be comparable or superior to Terrence Crawford in total and certain areas of their game i.e. Floyd Mayweather Junior, Shane Mosely, Miguel Cotto, Dmitry Bivol, Erislandy Lara, Gennady Golovkin.

The reason why I still give Terrence Crawford a chance of winning, is because? He does have the element of surprise in this fight. Nobody knows for sure what condition, or how the 168 pound weight limit is going to affect Crawford's performance. I think the very fact that Terrence Crawford will be no longer weight draining himself extensively to make the weight, this will improve certain aspects of his game such as his brute strength and durability.

Canelo Alvarez has been to the big dance many times before 'His experience is greater than Terrence Crawford's. Alvarez has been reluctant to rate Crawford as one of the best fighters he has ever fought, that shows you how much Canelo Alvarez backs himself to win in this fight' etc.

Won’t make or break his resume but taking both GGG and Crawfords 0 isn’t nothing.
