Horrible fight.Yankiel should have won.
Yankiel threw almost less than half the punches Cordova threw yet ended up landing a few more. So he was not only more accurate, but under all the grabbing and tangling by Cordova, he still landed the cleaner punches. Plus Cordova also lost 2 points in the fight. There's no doubt Condova is an extremely d i r t y fighter & it was known before the fight(the commentators mentioned it before the fight started). Plus other in Cordova's past fights there has been cuts because of headbutts & he's had point deductions because of "Rabbit punching". Any other Ref would have disqualified him.

I turned off the TV at about Round 8 - there was no point watching that hot mess any longer.
Why did the ref not DQ Cordova?
How could the matchmakers have shined so brilliantly with Baraou vs Tellez but then stunk up the joint with this bout as the headliner???
Then I wake up this morning and read here that Cordova walks away with a draw? Are you kidding me?

Despite the picture the very biased announcers tried to paint, I thought that although Cordova was really wild and lunged a lot, the real dirty fighter was Rivera, He threw Cordova with a hip toss, headlocked then hit him, hit him on the break, (even punched his leg multiple times but the ref wasnt seeing it and the announcers wouldnt call it. Rivera was every bit as dirty but he got the ol A-side.. I thought Cordova won. Also the knockdown was a push from Rivera and cost Cordova a point. The behind the head was legit but Rivera turned around I can see that one it was a bit late. Cordova is really super sloppy. But it was effective. The fight before this the announcers actually picked a side openly saying they wanted the A-side to win.

Wow, what a terrible fight!!! Cordova fights like a guy that was picked out of the crowd and told he would get paid per round! I will never watch that dude fight again!

Tellez vs Baraou should have been the main event because that was an excellent fight.

Very annoying fight to watch. A royal mess and the ref tried the best he could to take control of the fight. Cordova is strong and has a lot of stamina but is so reckless and unorthodox

So glad I turned it off. I only watched a round, maybe a round and a half and it had already killed my mood from being on a high after a great co-main.
