100%. Not only is that an extreme punishment example....they knew beforehand that he was taking it...but banned him for not putting in the TUE paperwork. Eggs benedict fights on. As does Dillian Whyte who couldnt throw a punch without his gear last weekend.

I am completely opposed to the use of PEDs in sport however, in light of other doping cases, the actions of ukad et al here are disgraceful.

As you say, he got the "nobody" sentence.

It is good that PED abusers get penalized but the ones with big promotional backing always oozes out of them.

All he had to do was get the sniffles and file the papers. What kind of drug policy is this? It's ok if the drugs are part of the therapy and a fee?

UKAD do this kind of thing, "harsh punishments" when they know the fighter is likely never going to fight in the UK again. So it gives the illusion that they're strict.

No different to Amir Khan's "ban". He was only given that ban because he was retired. 0% chance he gets that same ban if he was still active at the time.

The guy Soto has already fought in Mexico and I assume he'll continue to do so despite his ban from UKAD.

Also, considering the specifics of the case, a 5 year ban is harsh. He's presented the reason he failed the test and according to UKAD's ruling that should be a 1 year ban, not 5. But again it's irrelevant, it's all for show here.
