Oscar is on record saying that he does not want Vergil to fight Murtazaliev next because he has been fighting killer after killer. Vergil is a big boy so 10 lbs re-hydration clause does not work for him. For his own part Lubin gets destroyed either way so he might as well get paid for his trouble against Ortiz. Murtazaliev needs to change his promoter asap.

Well this should be easy. Bootsy ootsy ennis vs bakram for the IBF. Ennis is was the WW champion he can petition and get that fight right away ahead of any contenders. Bootsy wants a belt and an opponent at 154. Let’s see if he takes it. I wanna see what his fans have to say about it

Murtazaliev has a title but he is a high risk low reward type of fighter. He has an unremarkable record with the only recognizable name of Tim and maybe Culcay and that is not saying much.

Boots has an opponent lined up, 10/11 in Philly… Uisma Lima. Seats are selling out already.

If Ortiz is overworked a long vacation is better than devaluing his brand. Murtz is High risk low reward. Lubin might not be less risk for even less reward. Murtz makes more sense for the title.

Is that a joke? This “generational talent” is gonna bypass a title fight that would directly lead to Vergil Ortiz who him and his team claim he wants to fight? Bummers gon bum lol

It seems like everyone is avoiding the bogeyman of boxing Bakhram Murtazaliev nowadays and he is an IBF titleholder too.

It’s more likely than not that Lubin’s handlers feel more comfortable and safe by putting their charge in the ring with Vergil Ortiz rather than Murtazaliev and I can’t say I blame them.

Ortiz; Being the naturally smaller man moving up from a 147 lbs has not brought his power up to 154 with him.
He has left it behind at 147.

Moreover, Team Lubin are afraid of taking a life altering asswhooping by challenging Bakhram Murtazaliev in the ring.
