Any real boxing fan actually think that Crawford has a chance?

I think the question should be will Bud fight again after he loses vs Canelo?

He has took a year out put on weight, is he going to bother wanting to cut back down to 154 next year, after getting paid a record payday, will he have motivation to then fight for a few million vs anyone else. I don't think so. Although i want him to go back to 154 and have 2 fights next year vs some of the top opponents there, i would not be surprised if this is his retirement fight.

I think he wins a decision.

I am probably in a real minority here but I feel both are a little overrated and Canelo is quite frankly shot to bits.
He no longer jabs his way in, he's completely neglected his head movement, he can't cut a ring off, his workrate is non existent. His technique is hideous since his injuries and he loads up on everything. What is supposed to be so good about this version of Canelo? He just plods forward throwing some horribly telegraphed over hand right with no set up and a left hook where he throws his chin up in the air with.
He has deteriorated badly since mid-point in the GGG trilogy fight. I honestly think he'd be a total punchbag at this stage for a technically sound fighter with good movement that actually believed and wasn't overly respectful.

I truly believe Canelo is done and its been masqued by him fighting subpar opposition.
He made a shot John Ryder look a monster, he made Berlanga look competent.

It won't be as one-sided but it'll just be the Spence rubbish all over again with Crawford beating another duppy and people acting like it was some amazing feat and claiming he's this and that. I don't care if Canelo is bigger or operated at a higher weight, he's been there for the taking for 5yrs now.

REAL boxing fans know anything can happen and anyone can be beat. Im not saying Bud will win but he has a shot. The question is, can he execute it long enough to get the W?

This fight never would've happened had not Turki and Arum taken a shine to Craw whose always been death at the gates.

Canelo ain't chasin' anyone. Not his style. He's a natural counter puncher who can turn up his offense whenever he wants.

Just imagine what Golovkin would've done to Craw...yeah!!!
Considering that Golovkin was never impressive against elite opposition, I don't imagine him doing anything to Crawford.

            Yeah, good one.
Yeah Spence was so "washed up and badly damaged" that he easily beat Danny Garcia and broke Ugas face. The same Ugas that retired Manny Pacquiao.

The hindsight rewrite of history for that fight is annoying.

GGG would have done to him what he did to Brook.

He didn't win. That was my point. I'm still waiting to see a list of all of the elite fighters that Golovkin destroyed outside of fantasy fights.

Brook is not Crawford. Far from it. When Golovkin beats a fighter on Crawford's level in that way I might believe you.
