well a lot of us are 'former' Boot's fans now. Resigning with MR was the quote-unquote DEALBREAKER. Eddie has to put him back in Philly again because DAZN doesn't have the reach to sell him away from the tri-state area. The attendance at his first 3 fights with MR went from 14k to 11k to just under 10k. That's not progressing that's regressing.

He should've went with Espinoza and Haymon if he wanted to be a PPV star. PBC probably would've had him starting off with a fight with Lubin, then Murta for a belt. Then unify with Fundora. Then probably entertaining fights with Ramos, Mendoza, Tszyu and Bohachuk. Then big money PPV events with Spence and KEEF. By that time KING CHARLO would probably have retrieved his WBA strap back. Could've been undisputed CHARLO vs BOOTS. I'm quite sure Haymon and Oscar would've made a huge PPV Boots vs Virgil just like they did Tank vs Ryan. But noooooo this fool resigns with Eddie FOR YEARS and this is what we have to look forward to for the next 5 years. COUNT ME OUT!!!!

Spence, Thurman, and Charlo would be collecting social security by that point

Eddie will never make money off Boots in America. Boots was being groomed on Showtime to be our next PPV star. Everything was falling into place before he signed the first MR deal. Eddie will not have the financial backing of the Iron Sheik for these levels of fights. Eddie is going to have to pay Boots PPV money to keep him but he'll never be a PPV star because 1) no one has the DAZN app in America 2) The Iron Sheik already said DAZN will not do PPVs anymore (again).

Resigning Boots will be a financial disaster for MR as well. Everyone knows that Boots is all Eddie has left before he runs out of America with his tail tucked between his legs. Eddie has no choice but to beg Haymon and Oscar for their fighters. They are going to make Eddie pay a premium that he can't pay without help from the Iron Sheik. You want Fundora? 4 million! You want Virgil? 5 million! Just like Eddie had to let Canelo go back to PBC for the Munguia and Berlanga fights, eventually the same is going to happen to Boots. Bank on it!
