I would like to offer my deepest apologies to all on this site for me defense of Jaron Ennis over the last 6-7 years. This guy has all the talent in the world but unfortunately he does not have the wits to match the talent. I will no longer be defending this guy on this site. Say what you want about him and I will remain radio silent! Resigning with Eddie has to be one of the most bone-headed decisions a boxer has ever made!

Hearn lost money on Andrade, Devin, Tevin, Shakur and now Boots. He has done a horrible job and I for the life of me have no clue what made Boots want to sign a FUQKING MULTI YEAR DEAL with a promoter who has proven he can't do shyte in America! Why do you think the Canelo v Crawford fight is being promoted by Dana on Netflix?

Eddie is going to lose so much money on Boots. Every rival promoter knows that Boot's is all Eddie has left before he's sent on a 'reverse Mayflower' boat ride. They are going to tell Eddie that he will have to multiply his offer by 5 to get his fighter to come over. What else is Eddie going to do? It's either pay the opponent 1 million dollars or no fight. In order for Eddie to recoup money he will need to make Boots a PPV guy. Dazn/Eddie can't do that in America. No one is paying $30 pr month for an app that shows 3 or 4 American boxing shows a year. He's never going to make money off Boots!Comment

He clearly did not want to leave 147 without being undisputed but Hearn tricked him to move up to give up the two belts so two of his guys could fight for one of them and he can try to break into the American welterweight market again.Comment

Boots could have signed to Haymon and been fighting big money PPV fights with Pacman, Mario and probably Brian. He could have then moved up to 154 to have huge PPV events with Spence, KEEF, Jermell, Tszyu, Fundora, Lubin, Mendoza, Ramos and others. But he chose a foreign promoter with no access to anyone in America. SMHComment
