if canelo had not have cherrypicked bivol both of them may well be just over rated hypejobs in a weak division

Roys Olympic rip off was bad , but nothing was worse than what Olympic stole from Evander Holyfield DOMINATING and KO’ing all his opponents only to get a bull**** DQ in the medal rounds … THAT was the biggest Rio Off in Boxing History !

Evander got jobbed bad, that's the truth.
At least we can take comfort in the amazing pro careers both RJJ and Evander had. They will be remembered most for their achievements, not for being victims.

Dariusz was the lineal champion so it would had been a nice name on Roy's resume since he stated out of his own mouth he was washed up when he faced Tarver.
I'm saying we gotta blame Dariusz for it never happening considering he never left EuropeLeft Hook Louie likes this.

Beterbiev and Bivol are both magnificent and would have been able to compete in any era. Either one against Roy in his prime, would have been something to see. When Roy fought Bryant Brannon, I was almost ringside. The fight b4 Roy's was Ike Quartey vs. Oba Carr. I sat right near Quartey's entourage. While they all played drums, Quartey pumped his piston like jab, and seemed to adjust his tempo to the drum's changing rhythms. But anyway, Roy was so cold that night. I'm glad I was able to witness it up close and personal. At that particular point in his life, I think the only one that could beat Roy was Roy himselfCubanGuyNYC

Roy would be hated if he were active now. With social media it would have been obvious he was ducking top competition

That would be bad against Beterbiev.
Against Bivol I could see him winning on points.CubanGuyNYC likes this.
