Love RJJ, and his prime self may be the best P4P I've seen. But weight classes exist for a reason. Prime RJJ is coming in at 25-32 lbs less than the cruiser version of Usyk, and as both are ATG elites it just doesnt add up for him to be able to makeup that difference.

IMO Roy is higher on the ATG list but if they fought at Hwt or Crusier I am taking Usyk by stoppage.

Ruiz was hand picked because he had a title, was a small heavyweight and had cement feet and relied on excessive holding, so Roy could easily pop shot him.

Usyk would batter Roy. If they were the same size it would still be a very hard fight but throw in the size advantage and Usyk stops him

Roy’s speed probably gives Usyk problems early, but Usyk is an incredibly skilled fighter with great timing. I suspect he figures Roy out and begins to utilise his natural size advantages. I’d pick Usyk by stoppage in the latter half of the fight.

Hopkins and Toney couldn't "figure Roy out" and Usyk isn't a better boxer than them, what he is though is a lot bigger and I suspect that makes the difference.

Actually come to think of it Bredis came within a cats whisker of beating Usyk so I think prime roy can do it, Roy UD.

I think Roy would cause issues and take rounds early with his speed but Usyk is a terrible style match up for Roy, maybe the worst going.

Lou Del Valle (southpaw) dropped Roy hard.
Tarver x3, Lebedev, Calzaghe all southpaws even if he was past it against most.

I've seen Roy struggle/get creamed by way too many southpaws and southpaw counterpunchers throughout his career for me to envision him pulling it off.

If you could hypothetically shrink Usyk down I'd still favour him. As amazing as Roy was he was amazing vs American trained orthodox fighters.

When you’re 40lbs heavier the puzzle becomes a lot easier to solve.

I think Usyk is a better fighter than both too tbh. All three are ATG’s, so wouldn’t argue too strongly either way.
