These are money hungry people, guys. the Bible says that the root of all evil is the love of money (1 Timothy 6:10). Money is great and we obviously need it to let alone survive on this world. But, when you have people whose only pursuit is getting money, they will stop at anything to get it. I would much rather have the fighters get the larger chunk of the money than these dudes in suits. All they care about is money and they will not give a damn about these fighters and their families when they end up poor and brain dead smh. I hope these people don't prevail.

I really don’t know what to think. More money for the fighters is nice, but seems like they are trying to force fighters in a direction that really helps UFC, and that model. Not boxers

The Ali act has been taken advantage of prior to all of this. Instead of "Promoters" acting as "Managers" you got Managers and Advisers acting as Promoters. PBC is a perfect example of this.

That TKO is behind the proposed changes indicates fighters will ultimately lose protections of the original Act. I would only trust changes desired by a union of boxers to benefit their athletes.

Anytime someone tries to "legislate away" a set of problems, I instantly become su****ious. I have yet to see anything get better because of a complicated law. As soon as lawyer speak is involved, it is likely they are hiding their true intentions.

If a group of former boxers were proposing something, I would be interested. This will only make things more complicated and the boxing landscape needs simplified.

OK, Boxing Scene does not like the word sus-pi-cious? What in the name of Websters is going on with this website?

This Bill would do nothing except put more money in the hands of guys like Dana White.

Everything with this administration is transactional.

I for one would LOVE boxing to adopt the UFC model where the best fight the best early, losses don't matter and there's only ONE champion per weight class (with fewer weight classes too).
