    This was easy to predict.

You can bet that the corrupt WBC/Scumofaman will clear him.

Soon as I heard it was Heptaminol it was obvious that contamination was going to be used and thus nothing was going to be done.

At this point there’s no point doing drug testing, every fighters excuse is going to be contamination.

Look at the levels of lunacy here, the fights been made an NC due to a failed drug test but they haven’t banned the fighter who failed the drug test

". . .the fact that Mr Rodriguez had reported in his WBC CBP registration document the use of an over-the-counter energy booster which label included two banned substanced [sic] . . . "

Imo this is a major issue, so not "contamination " per se; Rodriguez told the WBC he was going to be using these substances!

I suppose his argument would be IF trace amount are found, this would be why.

You’re right though, it’s an open excuse. If you know the fucking over the counter product even has a chance of having banned substances in them WHY would you buy them? Baffles me, honestly.

Said this before but it blows my mind that any athlete is buying over the counter products in the first place. It doesn’t make sense to take that risk for the low reward they provide.

I wonder if nationality has anything to do with whether a fighter gets suspended by the WbC ?

Partly. But they helped Benn too, so it's more to do with profile.

Why DOESN'T VADA catch them BEFORE the fights happen? O does everyone start using them the day of the fight?

Agreed. And, perhaps, more to the point, why would WBC CBP approve supplements containing two banned substances?!

That depends on what kind of substance/s they're using, for what purposes. Some banned substances are utilised primarily during the training period before a fight whilst some are more often used immediately pre-fight.
