Very disappointing. But then again unless you’re fighting on Netflix you’re really not getting the most exposure to the American market

Makes sense but Boots needs to increase his profile. Seems to be coasting along when he could be the next megastar. Should just fight Rolly at 147 then Benn at 154. Needs some huge fight exposure, ask to get on the Canelo card and the next undisputed HW fight card.

That's right, 154 is stacked with talent and great matchups.
Unfortunately for us, the suffering fans, why will it be any different at 154 than it was at 147?
Boots can fight once or maybe twice a year just like he did at 147 and still avoid the heat of Ortiz and Murtazaliev.
Sugar Ray Leonard fought a murderer's row of opponents in his prime - the best available.
Can you do the same, Boots? It's not just up to Eddie. You have a vote, too.
        SMH SMH SMH

EDIT: It would give me some measure of satisfaction to see the heat at 147 (as of today Brian Norman, Jr.) move up someday to 154 and pummel Boots out of the ranks of the unbeaten. Not because I have animus towards Boots per se, but for the realization of the aphorism "you can run but you can't hide".

Don't know why people hating, the only options right now are Matchroom and Turki.

Every other promotional company is dead.

Guess Dana is an option, but they probably waiting on the Ali Act changes.

That’s good for Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis. Now let’s see him step up his level of opposition because it’s lacking.

That said I'm expecting a super easy fight for his 154 debut

Boots career already eerily look similar to Kell Brook's.

Brook best win was Porter and it was just bums after that.
Boots best win is Stanionis and it's gonna be bums after that.
Also, you can add Danny Garcia’s name to that list too. All he has ever fought were shopworn gatekeepers for much of his career.

Aside from a prime Amir Khan and Lucas Matthysee. Don’t be foolish! Turki is not in the business of throwing good money after bad.

If Team Ennis wants that lottery jack pot type of money then he is going to have to start fighting someone who is good.

Remember that Matchroom is playing with the Ring and Riyadh Season’s money from your ‘Excellency’ in order to pay Jaron Ennis.

Haney has way more balls than this guy.
Likewise, let’s not forget how he ducked both Crawford and Spence as well when he was their mandatory challenger for their titles.

154 is full of killers. If Boots can dominate there and unify all the belts then that would make a real statement.

Let’s see if he can show and prove.
