I suggest anybody thinking Murtazaliev is the boogeyman at 154 - or even one of the best in the division - check out the full fight of Murtazaliev vs Culcay at All The Best Fights dot com. You'll see Murtazaliev go life and death for 11 rounds with the 39 year old Culcay (33-4 with 14 KO's coming in to this fight). There is NO WAY you'll come away thinking fighters like Boots, Fundora, Ortiz, or even Thurman wouldn't destroy him.Comment

If the Lubin fight gets made, I expect Erickson to try and outbox him and slow things down from the outside hoping to eke out a decision (similar to the Ramos fight). Lubin has decent power and legitimate boxing skills but he can't afford to get in any firefights with Murtazaliev because he'd likely get sparked out.

Bakhram said "I’ve got big respect for Tim’s promoters [No Limit], that they can pull those fights off. " If they can pull off two fights including a world title shot for a fighter you destroyed, it is time to rethink your promotional outfit. Maybe they are not doing such a crash hot job of promoting you and organising some food on the table for your family.Comment

Ramadan has nothing to do with his feet being slow, his hands being slow, his inability to cut off the ring, or his defense being leaky. Bakhram has good power and good fundamentals, but any boxer at 154 that is athletic and has good power is going to beat him, unless they get clipped.Comment
