I don't see any intrigue in this fight. Usyk is on another level.

Probably not because they had multiple big world title fights

Oleksandr Uysk has had one win at top level 'In the Heavyweight Division, were he was able to separate himself from his opponent. And that was vs Daniel Dubois I & II. Other than that? Uysk as a Heavyweight Champion, is just about edging his fights. No doubt he is winning, but against Derek Chisora, Tyson Fury I & II and Anthony Joshua I & II they were all close and very competitive fights. Go and look at the state of Oleksandr Uysk's face after he fought Anthony Joshua and Derek Chisora, he was battered and had sustained heavy structural damage'.

I don't think you can describe a Heavyweight fighter with those sorts of performances as 'On another level. Mike Tyson during his first heavyweight Championship reign was for the most part on another level to his nearest competition, Oleksandr Uysk is not that level of fighter. Those are just the facts'.

If the trilogy fights vs ether Tyson Fury or Anthony Joshua is made again 'There will be masses of people in my opinion, all backing Fury and Joshua to win. I am one of those people, if Anthony Joshua fights Oleksandr Uysk for the third time? I am backing Joshua to win'.

Note: And in regards to Joseph Parker 'For the most part he has been a durable fighter in his career. The only time he has ever been smashed up was vs Joe Joyce, but? During that fight he fought Joyce at his absolute peak. And in my opinion, the damage Joe Joyce sustained in that fight affected him for the rest of his career. It was Joseph Parker who chronically damaged Joe Joyce as a fighter, even during a loss. I still regard that performance by Joseph Parker as one of his best in his career, as he left it all in the ring'.

I have stated in some of my previous posts? That I think Oleksandr Uysk has benefited from entering the heavyweight divisions at a opportune time 'Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder were already outside of their peak by the time he decided to compete in the divisions. And in combination they had already cleared out the entire heavyweight division, as the three heavyweight mountains of this era'.

If Oleksandr Uysk would have entered in the heavyweight divisions just a few years earlier 'He would have had to fight more heavyweight contenders. Better versions of Derek Chisora and maybe even Joseph Parker'.

Derek Chisora miles outside of his peak 'Gave Oleksandr Uysk one of his toughest fights at heavyweight. Joseph Parker has beaten a better version of Derek Chisora twice back to back. Parker also fought a potentially better version of Anthony Joshua, although he was clearly beaten and lost the fight? Parker was not smashed up after the fight, to the same extent as Uysk vs Joshua I & II'.

To conclude: And this is why although Oleksandr Uysk has accumulated a impressive resume in terms of statistics and titles won 'When you really analyse him as a fighter, he is definitively not on a another level to his nearest competition. He was not on another level in the Cruiserweight or Heavyweight Divisions'.

I don't think other heavyweight contenders are that apprehensive about fighting Oleksandr Uysk 'So honestly, people need to calm down and stop trying to portray Usyk as some sort of Mike Tyson, Sonny Liston, George Foreman type fighter'.

I think both Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua currently right now 'Would still beat Joseph Parker. But? I would still give Parker a chance of pushing Uysk in a very competitive fight' etc.

My take is Turki is not interested in hw division anymore.

He would only back Usyk -Fury 3 or Fury-Joshua.

Clearly just talk otherwise he wouldn't have released his new clothing line USYK-17. There is nothing more he can achieve at heavyweight, he has achieved it all and is already the lineal champion. The only thing left he can do as a professional is fight for astronomical amounts of money. There is the possibility he could drop down to cruiserweight for a crack at 2x undisputed down there but at his age and current weight that would probably be a gamble too far.

Good point. Just don't want to see Turki get to power hungry like some other high profile greedy control freak promoters of the past. Parker vs Usyk seems the right fight right now but Turki wants Itauma vs Usyk even though the kid isn't ready yet. (Itauma has NOT been calling out Usyk.)

How can you say he only had one high-level fight? He beat Tyson twice, he beat AJ twice.

                      .
AJ has no hope v usyk as usyk has his number even AJ knows this plus AJ is done and usyk is almost done so its all pie in the sky, usyk is prob operating at his top level and needed that in his fury fights and AJ fights and other fights but thats boxing hes consistent and better than the rest on the night, will he fall off his top level and start losing of course he will but id say hes smart enough to get out before that happens, we shall see

Actually AJ is 35 so he should be good for a few more years if he can get his head straight maybe
