Its time the belts were fought for on merit again and top of that list is Parker, as over-rated and boring as he might be.

The truth here is that Parker IS massively over hyped. He's been beaten up, lost multiple times, struggled against average Cruiserweight, tasted the canvas on multiple occasions and somehow is regarded as Usyks biggest threat.

Put it down on paper and this guy is barely top 10.

Parker would have smashed Miller, Hrgovic and Joshua as easily as Dubois did.

Wilder , Zhang and Bakole, even Joyce were avoided and feared until Parker stepped up and showed everyone how they weren't to be. No one else had the balls too and triple knee Dubois would have been smashed by all 3

I don't think Usyk will have much motivation to fight Parker or Kabayel. Parker vs Kabayel should have been the co-main though and winner fights Usyk. Not surprised Parked sat aside when he is first in the que though out of the interims

He lost to Whyte. Both AJ and Fury flattened Whyte.

He hasn't beaten anyone near as good as Wlad

He got flattened by Joyce. Chisora has beaten Joyce.

He arguably went 1-1 with Chisora, many felt he lost the first.

He did beat Wilder but Wilder has been damaged goods since Fury.

He lost to AJ.


So in what world would he be held above Fury or AJ? It's simply nonsense.

Except, Whyte, Chisora and Joyce didn't just beat Wilder, Zhang and Bakole in their last 3 fights and it doesn't matter what happened before that...

You're only as good as your last gig and Parker's was a 1st round knockout of the world's greatest sparring partner!

AJ and Fury's last fights were a splattering and a comprehensive loss in a rematch he also lost.
